Club Qing was established in 2003, initially operating as a restaurant and transforming into a Whisky Bar in 2015.

To commemorate the 10th anniversary of Club Qing Whisky Bar, we specially selected a bottle of Laphroaig 21-year-old from our stock as a memorial bottling.

This Laphroaig was distilled in 2004 and about 3 years ago was transferred to a first-fill oloroso hogshead for secondary maturation. It is also the first time the very special CLUB QING celebratory bottling is officially imported to the United States.

Aroma: Rich tropical fruits, ripe mango, a touch of iodine and antiseptic notes, lemon peel, tar, passion fruit, sea breeze, charred bacon, campfire smoke, and salted white fish on the grill.

Palate: Ripe fruit character with mango and passion fruit, smoky grilled bacon, coastal salinity, and a gentle, elegant smoky peat.

Finish: Layers of tropical fruit, cocoa, minerals, sea breeze, and a long, delicate iodine and antiseptic note lingering softly.

Laphroaig has been challenging palates since 1815. Located on Islay’s southern coast, it produces one of the most distinctive and polarizing single malts in the world—dense with coastal smoke, tar, and iodine.

Its character is rooted in tradition: floor maltings, hand-cut peat, slow drying methods, and the longest foreshot run in the industry. The distillery uses almost exclusively American oak from a single bourbon maker, lending sweet vanilla to balance the intense smoke. Whether loved or loathed, Laphroaig is unforgettable—an Islay icon that always leaves an impression.
